BRIDGEPORT — A local man was taken into custody for alleged involvement in a shooting, facing multiple charges including attempted murder, authorities said.
Hommy Rodriguez, 45, of Bridgeport, has been charged with criminal attempt – murder, assault in the first degree, and criminal possession of a firearm.
According to the Bridgeport Police Department, Rodriguez’s bond has been set at $1.5 million.
The arrest was made swiftly by K9 Officer Corey Baldwin and his dog, Ace, who located Rodriguez within minutes after the incident.
Rodriguez followed Baldwin’s commands and was arrested without further complication.
Rodriguez is scheduled for arraignment in Bridgeport Superior Court on June 20.
