MILFORD — Firefighters from Milford Fire Department were dispatched early this morning to a reported motor vehicle accident involving two tractor-trailers on Interstate 95 northbound near exit 38.
At 3:32 a.m., fire crews responded to the scene where they encountered significant damage to one of the tractor-trailers.
Upon arrival, the fire department units found two occupants, who were evaluated by emergency medical personnel.
Despite the assessment, both individuals refused transport to the hospital.
To clear the scene, heavy-duty wreckers were called in to remove the damaged vehicles from the interstate.
The collision resulted in traffic delays during the early morning hours as crews worked to ensure the safety of the area and remove debris.
