WORCESTER — A man was arrested Sunday after Worcester Police officers observed him with a loaded firearm and a stolen motorcycle.
Officers recognized 32-year-old Kerdinand Percy Fuentes, who had three active warrants, near a UHaul on Blake Street.
When they approached, Fuentes fled, dropping a shoulder strap bag later found to contain a loaded firearm and personal items, including a Massachusetts ID and credit card belonging to him.
The Crime Scene Unit confirmed the presence of the firearm in the bag.
Fuentes does not have a license to carry a firearm.
Upon further investigation, police determined the nearby motorcycle, freshly spray-painted black, was stolen.
Keys found in Fuentes’ bag matched the UHaul’s Master Lock, which contained paint, tools, and parts.
Fuentes faces charges for his warrants, carrying a loaded firearm without a license, possession of ammunition without an FID card, and receiving stolen property over $1,200.
