WORCESTER — A man was arrested on suspicion of breaking into Spoodles Deli and committing larceny, police said.

Keyon McDaniels, 26, of Queen St., was taken into custody on June 15 after an officer working off-duty spotted him on Main St. and confirmed an active arrest warrant, according to the Worcester Police Department.

The arrest followed a June 10 report of a past break at the deli, where officers found a forced side door and items missing.

Detectives took over the investigation, which led to the identification of McDaniels as the suspect and the issuance of the warrant.

McDaniels faces charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime and larceny in a building.
