DUDLEY — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Dudley man early Tuesday morning after police discovered a large quantity of suspected drugs and cash in his vehicle.

At about 1:40 a.m., Officer James Mastrogiovanni of the Dudley Police Department pulled over a vehicle on Schofield Ave.

The driver, identified as 30-year-old Heriberto Rodriquez, was found to be operating with a suspended Massachusetts driver’s license.

Upon further investigation, officers located a significant amount of suspected Adderall and Ecstasy pills, along with $2,265 in US currency.

Rodriquez was taken into custody and faces several charges, including operating after suspension of license, trafficking in Class B substances (Adderall) weighing 100 grams or more, and possession with intent to distribute Class B substances (Adderall and Ecstasy), all subsequent offenses.

Rodriquez was held on a $10,000 cash bail and appeared at Dudley District Court for arraignment later that morning.
