Ri state police make multiple arrests for DUI, eluding and domestic violence charges

PROVIDENCE — In a series of arrests over the weekend, Rhode Island State Troopers from the Lincoln Woods Barracks took several individuals into custody on charges ranging from driving under the influence to domestic violence.

At 3 p.m. on June 16, Troopers arrested Armando Franco Hernandez, 25, of Fall River, Massachusetts, following a motor vehicle accident investigation on Route 195.

Hernandez faces charges including Driving Under the Influence – BAC Unknown – First Offense and Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test – First Offense.

He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and released with a scheduled court appearance at the Sixth Division District Court.

Shortly thereafter, at 3:30 p.m. the same day, Michael Morocho Rivera, 20, of Johnston, Rhode Island, was arrested for Reckless Driving – Eluding after a vehicle stop on Bald Hill Road in Warwick.

Rivera was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks, arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released with a future Third Division District Court date.

Early on June 17 at 2:21 a.m., Andre Mussington, 36, of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, was arrested on a warrant for Domestic Violence – Simple Assault issued by the Pawtucket Police Department.

The arrest occurred during a traffic stop on Route 95 in Pawtucket.

Mussington was processed at the barracks before being handed over to the Pawtucket Police.

Later that morning at 3:19 a.m., Celestina Boria, 23, also of Pawtucket, was arrested on a Superior Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear for a Pre-Arraignment Conference on an initial charge of Domestic Violence – Unlawful Breaking and Entering.

The arrest followed a traffic stop on Coyle Avenue in Pawtucket.

Boria was processed at the barracks and transferred to the Adult Correctional Institutions Women’s Intake Center.
