NEWFANE — A New Hampshire woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI following a single-vehicle accident on VT RT 30 late Saturday night.
Stacy A. Chickering, 48, of West Chesterfield, New Hampshire, was taken into custody after Vermont State Police responded to the crash at about 11:16 p.m.
Troopers from the Westminster Barracks noted indicators of impairment while interacting with Chickering at the scene.
After her arrest, Chickering was brought to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
She was later released with a citation to appear at Vermont Superior Court, Windham Criminal Division, on charges of DUI – Criminal Refusal and Negligent Operation.
The date and time for her court appearance have yet to be announced.
