Highgate man reported missing, police seek public’s help

HIGHGATE — Vermont State Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating 50-year-old Chad Lapointe, who was reported missing from his residence on Rocky Maple Lane on June 14 at about 2:52 p.m.

Lapointe was last seen on June 12 around 4:45 a.m. at his home in Highgate.

His current whereabouts are unknown, and he is believed to be traveling on foot.

Authorities are concerned for his welfare and are actively looking for any information that could help in finding him.

Described as approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, Lapointe has short brown hair and blue eyes.

The Vermont State Police are asking anyone who might have seen him or have any information regarding his location to contact the St. Albans Barracks at (802)-525-5993.
