HOLLIS — York County Sheriff’s Office detectives arrested a second suspect linked to a bank robbery in Waterboro, following a search warrant execution at a Hollis residence last evening.

At approximately 9 p.m. Tuesday, the Southern Maine Special Response Team aided detectives in safely clearing the house located on George Connors Rd. before conducting the search.

Kyle Allman, 37, of Hollis, emerged from the residence and was apprehended without incident on an outstanding robbery warrant issued by the Buxton Police Department.

Allman, allegedly involved in an armed robbery at the Main St. Variety in Buxton on June 7, was transported to the York County jail.

His bail was set at $200,000.

The search of Allman’s home yielded evidence connecting him to the recent robbery at Gorham Savings Bank in Waterboro, including a dirt bike believed to be used in the crime.

This discovery came after Timothy Riley, 41, of Westbrook, was taken into custody the previous day for his involvement in the same robbery.

The successful operation and arrests were attributed to the collaborative efforts of the York County Sheriff’s Office, Buxton Police Department, Maine State Police, Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office, Maine Warden Service, and the Southern Maine Special Response Team.

Their joint action led to the seizure of two suspects and a firearm, enhancing public safety in the area.
