PLYMOUTH — Vermont State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on June 13 at approximately 11:08 a.m. on VT RT 100 near the Fish & Wildlife access parking lot, authorities said.

Herbert Guyett, 69, of Lebanon, New Hampshire, was driving a 2006 Dodge Magnum southbound and attempted to turn left into the access lot.

Ann Turner, 70, from Plymouth, was traveling north in a 2023 Chevrolet Equinox.

According to the investigation, Guyett turned left without the right of way, leading to Turner’s vehicle colliding with the passenger side of Guyett’s car.

Both vehicles sustained significant damage—Guyett’s to the passenger side door and Turner’s to the vehicle’s front end—but neither driver reported injuries.

The accident scene, which featured clear weather and dry road conditions, was managed with the assistance of the Plymouth Fire Department and Woodstock Ambulance.

The vehicles were removed from their uncontrolled rest off the roadway, and no hospitalizations were necessary.

The Vermont State Police – Rutland Barracks is currently handling the ongoing investigation of the incident.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the collision.
