BROOKLINE — A pickup truck crashed into the Brookline Ballet School on Beacon Street at Marion Street on Friday, causing significant damage to the building but resulting in no reported injuries.
The Brookline Police Department said the incident occurred at approximately 4:43 p.m. when their dispatch center received a call about the accident.
Responding officers found the truck partially inside the ballet school, located at 1431 Beacon Street, after it had struck the front window.
In addition to the ballet school, two other vehicles were hit during the incident.
Despite the chaos and potential for injury, authorities confirmed that there were no injuries among those in the vehicles or inside the school.
Traffic investigators are currently on the scene, working to determine the cause of the crash.
The area around Beacon and Marion streets was cordoned off as the investigation and cleanup began.
The Brookline Police Department is asking anyone with information about the crash to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigation.
