Boston fugitive unit arrests two on Turkish extradition warrants

BOSTON — Members of the U.S. Marshals, Massachusetts State Police, and the Boston Police Fugitive Unit arrested two individuals Friday morning on federal extradition warrants issued by Turkey.

At about 9:30 a.m., authorities apprehended a juvenile and Eylem Tok, 44, at a residence located at 416 Pond St. in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood.

The juvenile is wanted in Turkey on charges of involuntary manslaughter and injury, while Tok is accused of harboring the offender.

Both suspects were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Moakley Federal Courthouse for arraignment.

Further details regarding the extradition process and upcoming legal proceedings have not yet been released.
