MORETOWN — A 22-year-old Barre man was injured in a motorcycle crash on US Route 2 on June 12, according to Vermont State Police.
Tanner Young was navigating a corner on his 1999 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 when he struck a guardrail.
The incident, which occurred in clear weather and on dry road conditions, resulted in serious but non-life threatening injuries to Young.
Emergency services transported Young to Central Vermont Medical Center, and he was later moved to the University of Vermont Medical Center for further treatment.
The extent of the damage to the motorcycle was not disclosed, but police confirmed the vehicle was damaged in the crash.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and officials have not yet determined if any other factors contributed to the crash.
