Weston man charged with child pornography possession

1 min read

WESTON — A local man surrendered to police Tuesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of first-degree possession of child pornography, a Class B felony.

Robert Hahn, a resident of Weston, turned himself in following a thorough investigation that began with a federal cyber tip last year.

The tip, which was received by the Weston Police Department on April 4, originated from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and was relayed through the Connecticut State Police.

The investigation revealed that Hahn had downloaded known images of child pornography.

After a detailed probe, authorities obtained an arrest warrant.

Hahn was released after posting a $500,000 bail.

His arraignment is scheduled for June 26 at Stamford Superior Court.
