Pride flag stolen from Harwood Union High School, police seek information

MORETOWN — In a late-night act of theft, two individuals were reported to have stolen a Pride flag from Harwood Union High School, authorities said Monday.

At 9:14 a.m. on June 12, Vermont State Police at the Berlin Barracks were notified of the incident, which occurred on school grounds.

According to the police report, the flag was taken from its flagpole on June 8 at approximately 11:57 p.m.

Evidence from the scene indicates the unidentified suspects entered the premises, removed the Pride flag, and departed with it.

Investigators are continuing their efforts to identify the individuals involved in the theft.

The state police are urging the public to come forward with any relevant information that may assist in the ongoing investigation.
