DANBURY — A Danbury man was pronounced dead at the scene of a motorcycle accident on Brushy Hill Road on Monday evening, according to the Danbury Police Department.
Charles Preston, 57, was found by first responders at approximately 7:30 p.m. after his motorcycle veered off the road and struck an embankment.
Police say Preston sustained severe injuries and died on the scene.
The Danbury Police Accident Investigation Team’s preliminary findings suggest that Preston lost control while navigating a turn before leaving the roadway.
Investigators are seeking witnesses or anyone with information about the motorcycle’s driving patterns prior to the accident.
