Nathaniel S. Jenne, 48, was taken into custody following a report that a child had been repeatedly assaulted.

The investigation uncovered that Jenne had caused pain to a member of his household multiple times, recklessly endangered another household member, and breached a condition of his release set by the court.

Jenne, a resident of Reading, has been lodged and is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Windsor Criminal Division, to respond to the charges of first-degree aggravated domestic assault, eight counts of domestic assault, two counts of reckless endangerment, and violation of conditions of release.

The Vermont State Police have not released the names of the victims in accordance with policies to protect individuals involved in sexual assault or domestic violence cases.
