IRASBURG — Vermont State Police arrested 37-year-old Jonathan Cubit on charges of aggravated operation without owner’s consent after he allegedly stole a vehicle from Covered Bridge Road.
Authorities were alerted to the theft on June 2, at 8:23 p.m., when Marvin Cubit, 59, reported his vehicle missing.
The investigation quickly led to Jonathan Cubit, who was found operating the stolen vehicle on Coventry Station Road.
Cubit, who has no fixed address, was apprehended without incident and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.
Following his arrest, he was released with a citation and is scheduled to appear in court on July 23.
