Hit-and-run in Danville parking area leaves woman’s car damaged

DANVILLE — Vermont State Police are seeking information from the public after a hit-and-run incident left a 66-year-old Barnet woman’s car damaged.

According to authorities, Lisa Adler reported that her vehicle was hit while parked at the intersection of US Route 2 and VT Route 15 in Danville.

The collision is believed to have occurred on June 1 between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. when the vehicle was unattended.

The Vermont State Police received the report at approximately 2:20 p.m. on June 3.

The unknown driver responsible for the damage fled the scene without reporting the crash.

Police are canvassing for witnesses who may have been in the area during the time of the incident.

The investigation into the identity of the person responsible is ongoing.
