MONKTON — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on charges of domestic assault after responding to an incident late on May 30.
Authorities were called to a residence on Silver Street at about 11:37 p.m. following reports of a domestic disturbance.
An investigation at the scene indicated that 43-year-old Jeramy C. Broderick had caused bodily injury to a household member.
Broderick, a Monkton resident, was located and taken into custody the following day without incident.
He was processed at the New Haven State Police Barracks and then transported to the Addison County Courthouse to face the domestic assault charge.
