LOVELL — Dorothy Hagar, the 87-year-old Lovell resident who was reported missing earlier today, has been safely located, according to the Maine State Police.
Officials expressed their gratitude to the public for the assistance provided in locating Hagar.
The Silver Alert, which had been issued by the Oxford County Sheriff’s Office after Hagar left her home on Allen Road at 10 a.m. on May 29, has been canceled.
Hagar, who suffers from cognitive issues, was believed to have traveled to the Mid Coast area of Maine.
She was last seen driving a silver 2010 Chevrolet Impala with Maine registration 9466WM.
Dorothy is described as a white female, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office and the Maine State Police thank everyone who shared information and kept a lookout for Hagar.
The cooperation of community members played a vital role in ensuring her safe return.
