GROTON — A joint law enforcement operation led to the arrest of a Groton man for unlawful possession of ammunition early Thursday morning.
At around 4:50 a.m., the Connecticut State Police Emergency Services Unit, alongside the Town of Groton Police Department, the Hamden Police Department, and the Connecticut State Police Violent Crimes Task Force, carried out a Search and Seizure Warrant at 75 Crown Knoll Court, Unit 399.

Robinson, prohibited by law from owning such items, was promptly arrested by Town of Groton Police officers.
Following his arrest, Robinson was brought to the Town of Groton Police Headquarters for processing.
He is being held on a $10,000.00 cash or surety bond and is scheduled for arraignment at G. A. 10 in New London later the same day.
The seized ammunition has been taken as evidence to the Town Groton Police Headquarters.
While the investigation continues, the Groton Police Department urges anyone with information related to the case or other suspected criminal activity to come forward and contact the department at (860) 441-6712.
