MARION — Marion Fire Department personnel quickly extinguished a commercial truck fire on Allen’s Point Road this morning, ensuring no injuries were sustained during the incident.
Firefighters from Engines E-1 and E-3, along with Ambulance A-2 and Command unit C-1, responded to the emergency call and managed to knock down the fire shortly after their arrival.
Marion Police Department officers were also present at the scene to provide assistance and ensure the safety of the responding units and the public.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
