WEATHERSFIELD — A New York man was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and possession of cocaine after a traffic stop on Interstate 91 northbound.
Vermont State Police troopers from the Westminster Barracks stopped a vehicle at 7:53 p.m. on May 28 for a traffic violation.
The driver, identified as 25-year-old Nicholas Keefe of Whitesboro, NY, exhibited signs of impairment and was screened for DUI-drugs.
Following the investigation, Keefe was taken into custody and transported to the Westminster Barracks for processing.
He was also found to be in possession of cocaine during the stop.
Keefe has been released on a citation to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windsor Criminal Division on July 23 at 8 a.m. to answer to the charges.
