EAST PROVIDENCE — On Monday, East Providence Police swiftly arrested two suspects, Isaiah Dalomba, 22, and Temilolluwa Akano, 20, after responding to a reported attempted robbery at the Cricket Wireless store at 328 Warren Avenue.
Shortly after receiving the call, officers gathered descriptions of the suspects who had allegedly demanded money from an employee and locked the store’s door upon entry.
Following a brief scuffle, the suspects fled the scene in a black Nissan Altima.
Leveraging statements from the victim, area surveillance footage, and Flock Safety Cameras, patrols pinpointed the vehicle in the Riverside neighborhood.
Dalomba and Akano, both residents of Pawtucket, were inside the car and were identified as the individuals involved in the Cricket Wireless incident.
They were apprehended and taken to the station for booking.
The duo faces charges of assault with intent to commit a felony and conspiracy.
Additionally, they were recognized as bail violators from prior criminal charges.
Following their arraignment, both suspects were held at the ACI pending a hearing in District Court.
