SALISBURY — Middlebury Rescue and Vermont State Police responded to Kampersville Campground in Salisbury for a reported unresponsive female on Monday morning.
The victim, identified as 69-year-old Donna M. Adams from Melrose, N.Y., was found in an RV by family members. Despite emergency resuscitation attempts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A VSP detective and an investigator from the Office of Chief Medical Examiner determined that Adams was at the campground with several family members and died from a medical event. Her death was deemed not suspicious or criminal in nature.
