LEICESTER — Vermont State Police arrested a local woman early Sunday morning after responding to a report of a family fight at a Leicester residence on Route 7.
At approximately 12:55 a.m., authorities were dispatched to the scene where they conducted an investigation.
The investigation concluded that 49-year-old Pamela Strong had caused bodily harm to a family member.
Strong was taken into custody on suspicion of Domestic Assault and was processed at the New Haven Barracks.
Following the court’s ruling, Strong was released with conditions and a criminal citation.
She is scheduled to appear in Vermont Superior Court, Addison Criminal Division, on May 28 at 12:30 p.m. to respond to the charge.
The Vermont State Police has withheld the name of the victim, adhering to policies regarding cases of sexual assault and domestic violence.
