MEDWAY — A stolen vehicle led police on a dangerous chase through multiple towns before crashing into a Medway school bus and other cars on Friday afternoon.
Medway Police Department officers were alerted by Wellesley Police Department around 2:45 p.m. that a stolen blue BMW was detected in the Fisher Street area.
Officers Meghan Casey, Ryan Kahn, AJ Latosek, and Maggie Schindler responded, following the vehicle’s last known signals.
The BMW, speeding along Fisher Street, narrowly missed Officer Casey and then collided with a Medway School Bus at 74 Fisher Street, which was offloading students.
The pursuit continued into Hollison, where the BMW hit two more cars, and then into Ashland, where local police attempted to intercept.
The chase concluded in Framingham when the BMW crashed, and several suspects fled the scene on foot.
Despite the chaos and damage, no injuries were reported among the students on the school bus or the driver.
Medway Fire/EMS quickly arrived on the scene to confirm the safety of all involved.
The Medway School Department has been notified of the incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
