JAMAICA — On May 23, Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Westminster Barracks responded to a reported domestic assault incident at a Water St. residence.
Authorities arrived at the scene around 2:32 p.m., where they encountered Kyle Camyre, 40, of Palmer, Massachusetts, and the victim whose identity remains undisclosed due to the nature of the crime.
Following an investigation, evidence gathered at the location led to Camyre’s arrest.
He was processed at the Westminster Barracks and subsequently released with a citation to appear in the Vermont Superior Court – Windham Criminal Division on charges of domestic assault.
The court date for Camyre has been set for a later time, where he will face the allegations brought against him.
The Vermont State Police have not provided further details on the incident respecting the privacy of the victim.
