VERNON — A routine traffic stop on Interstate 91 led to the arrest of a 21-year-old Brattleboro man wanted on multiple out-of-state charges, Vermont State Police reported Monday.
At approximately 8:55 a.m., a trooper stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.
The investigation revealed that passenger Michael Rodriguez, 21, had an active arrest warrant for burglary, theft by unauthorized taking of over $1,500, and falsifying physical evidence.
Rodriguez was taken into custody without incident and processed at the Westminster Barracks.
He is scheduled to appear before the Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division later today at 12:30 p.m.
