HOOKSETT — A dump truck operator was arrested late Sunday night for driving while impaired in a construction zone on Interstate 93.
State Police from Troop D were called around 11 p.m. on May 19 to check on a commercial driver suspected of operating a dump truck under the influence.
Troopers had been alerted to the driver’s erratic behavior on the job site in Hooksett.
Upon arrival, Trooper Noah Gooch identified the driver as Michael R.
Pellerin, 49, of Manchester.
After conducting a field sobriety test, which Pellerin failed, he was arrested for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated (DWI).
Pellerin was taken to the Troop D barracks and later released on personal recognizance.
He has been summoned to appear in Hooksett District Court at a date yet to be determined.
Assistance at the scene was provided by Troopers from Troop G.
