Naugatuck police seek help identifying suspects in check theft case

NAUGATUCK — The Naugatuck Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying two individuals connected to stolen checks from Liberty Bank.

The case was reported on May 20, and involves a series of checks stolen from the bank’s Naugatuck branch.

According to police, a female suspect has been photographed at a Wethersfield branch, while a male suspect was captured on camera at a Rocky Hill branch.

Authorities have released the photos of the individuals in hopes that someone will recognize them and come forward with information.
