LOWELL — A 20-year-old Johnson man was arrested early Saturday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle was found totaled on Irish Hill Rd, near VT Route 100.
At approximately 4:12 a.m., the Vermont State Police were alerted to a single-vehicle crash.
Upon arrival, troopers discovered a 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander with extensive damage.
Aydan Church, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, was on the scene and uninjured.
Troopers noted that Church was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
During their interaction, Church exhibited several signs of impairment.
He was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks for processing.
Following the processing, Church was released with a citation to appear in court to face DUI charges.
The incident remains under investigation.
