AUBURN — Two individuals were transported to Elliot Hospital with serious injuries following a single motorcycle accident on Bypass 28 near Priscilla Lane, authorities said.
Auburn and Derry Fire Departments responded to the scene after an initial report of a motorcycle down in the roadway with two patients.
The accident, which involved no other vehicles, resulted in both individuals on the motorcycle sustaining what appeared to be serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A trauma alert was activated at the hospital for both patients upon their arrival.
The section of Bypass 28 where the accident occurred was temporarily closed but has since reopened to traffic.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
