WILLISTON — Vermont State Police arrested a 73-year-old Rutland man on suspicion of driving under the influence on Interstate I-89 Southbound on May 18.
David Classen was pulled over after troopers received a 911 call around 3:30 p.m. from a concerned citizen reporting erratic driving.
Upon locating and stopping Classen’s vehicle at mile marker 71.6, troopers noted several lane violations.
During the stop, indicators of impairment were detected by the officers.
Classen was taken into custody and transported to the Williston Barracks for further processing.
After processing, he was released with a citation and is scheduled to appear at the Chittenden County Superior Court on June 4 at 8:15 a.m.
