Plaistow auto dealership owner charged with failing to provide vehicle title

PLAISTOW — A local auto dealership owner was arrested today on charges that he failed to provide a certificate of title to a customer following a vehicle sale.

Nicholas Giangarra, 29, of Newton, was taken into custody by members of the New Hampshire State Police Troop G Investigations Unit.

Giangarra, an owner of JTS Auto & Truck, allegedly did not provide the legally required title for a vehicle he had sold.

The arrest occurred without incident on a warrant charging Giangarra with one count of Anti-Theft Laws: No Title To Transferee, a misdemeanor.

He is set to be arraigned at the 6th Circuit Court – District Division in Concord on July 12 at 8 a.m.

State police are investigating the possibility of additional victims and are asking anyone with information to contact Detective Nick Quintiliani.
