WALTHAM — In the early hours of May 11, Waltham and Bentley University police were called to the scene of an accident where a vehicle had crashed into an administrative building owned by Bentley University at 311 Beaver Street.
The incident occurred at 1:26 a.m., when officers responded to reports of the collision.
Upon arrival, they discovered that the driver of the vehicle had fled on foot.
Despite efforts to locate the individual, both the operator and any possible passengers remained at large.
Fortunately, no injuries have been reported as the building was empty at the time of the crash.
The Waltham Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident.
At this stage, no additional information has been released by the Waltham PD as the investigation continues.
