STURBRIDGE — Elisa Barone, the 29-year-old woman who was reported missing in Sturbridge, has been found safe, according to authorities.

Barone, who was last seen near #2 Champeaux Road and was known to enjoy walking the trail around the Champeaux Road fishing area, was located after a coordinated search effort.

The search involved members of the Sturbridge Police Department, Sturbridge Fire Department, Charlton Police, and State Police, who scoured the area following her disappearance.

Standing 5 feet tall and weighing approximately 225 pounds, Barone was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and grey sweatpants.
