PORTLAND — A serious motor vehicle accident on the I-295 Southbound Exit 8 off-ramp disrupted Monday morning traffic as Portland Police responded to the scene at 8:17 a.m.
A 37-year-old Portland man driving a gray Infiniti G25 collided with a white Honda Civic, resulting in the Infiniti driver being ejected from his vehicle.
He sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was promptly taken to Maine Medical Center for treatment.
The driver of the Honda, a 52-year-old Portland woman, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Northern Light Mercy Hospital.
Authorities have not filed charges as the Portland Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
