HOLBROOK — An alleged drug dealer was taken into custody over the weekend, according to Holbrook Police Chief William Smith.
Officers responded to a call about a suspicious event on Longmeadow Drive.
There, they received reports of an individual, later identified as Rashad Knight-Simon, 28, of Holbrook, who allegedly pointed a firearm at someone.
Knight-Simon was detained as detectives obtained a search warrant for his residence.
The search yielded 30 rounds of 5.7x22mm ammunition, 400 grams of cocaine, 1,200 grams of marijuana, pills identified as fentanyl, scales, and $32,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds from narcotics sales.
Knight-Simon faces charges including assault with a dangerous weapon, trafficking cocaine, possession of a Class A substance, possession with intent to distribute a Class D substance, and possession of ammunition without an FID card.
