HARTFORD — A local family is seeking the public’s help in locating 14-year-old Aaliyah Nunez, who was last seen on May 1 leaving school with another female student.
According to authorities, Nunez and her companion were spotted getting onto the Broad Street city bus heading towards downtown Hartford.
Since their departure from school on Thursday, there have been no further sightings or contact with Nunez.
The Hartford Police Department has issued a missing person alert and is asking for anyone with information to come forward.
Nunez was last seen wearing a red hoodie, a black school uniform shirt, black jogger-style pants, and black Crocs.
Community members and local law enforcement are working together to canvas the area and review surveillance footage from the bus and nearby locations.
The family has expressed deep concern for her safety and is urging anyone with information to contact the Hartford Police Department immediately.
