Stolen ATMs found in Mill River near New Haven high school

NEW HAVEN — New Haven Police Department, in collaboration with the New Haven Parks & Recreation Department, are on scene at Mill River behind Wilbur Cross High School, where multiple stolen ATMs have been discovered.

The ATMs were found early Monday morning, May 6, along the riverbank and submerged in the water.

Police began the recovery operation at approximately 11:30 a.m.

The investigation into how the ATMs ended up in the river is ongoing, and authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Those with knowledge about the stolen ATMs are encouraged to contact the New Haven Police.
