GOSHEN — A fight on Fay Road led to the citation of a Warren man for simple assault, Vermont State Police said.
Authorities were called to the scene at 8:32 p.m. on May 5 where they found that Cody E. Balch, 33, had allegedly assaulted Nathan J. McKeighan, 26, of Goshen.
Following an investigation, police issued Balch a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, to answer to the charge.
The court date is yet to be scheduled.
Details about what prompted the fight were not immediately available.
The condition of the victim following the incident was not provided in the police report.
The Vermont State Police continue to investigate the incident.
