Manchester narcotics bust results in two arrests, firearm and drugs seized

MANCHESTER — An extensive narcotics investigation led by the East Central Narcotics Task Force in cooperation with the DEA Tactical Diversion Squad and Manchester Police culminated in a significant drug bust and the arrest of two individuals on April 26.

Authorities executed a search warrant at the residence of Joseph Vasquez, 41, and Latoya Betts, 36.

The search warrant was a part of an ongoing probe into narcotics trafficking in the area.

Vasquez faces multiple charges, including possession of narcotics with intent to sell various drugs such as cocaine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, and PCP, also known as “Grey Death.”

Additional charges include operating a drug factory, possession of drug paraphernalia, and illegal possession of a firearm.

Vasquez was held on $750,000 in total bonds.

Betts was arrested on similar charges to Vasquez, which also included improper storage of a firearm.

Her total bonds amounted to $350,000.

Both Vasquez and Betts are scheduled for a court appearance on May 24 at the GA 12 Manchester Superior Court.
