ROCKINGHAM — A Sharon man was arrested early Sunday morning for multiple violations including DUI and excessive speeding on Interstate 91, according to Vermont State Police.
Troopers pulled over a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Sean Kelly after clocking it at 114 mph in a 65 mph zone around 12:14 a.m. Kelly, along with three juvenile passengers, were in the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Authorities reported that Kelly exhibited signs of impairment during the traffic stop.
He was taken into custody on suspicion of driving under the influence, excessive speed, negligent operation, and reckless endangerment.
Following the arrest, Kelly was brought to the Westminster Barracks and later released to an individual confirmed to be sober.
He received a citation ordering him to appear in Vermont Superior Court Windham Criminal Division on May 21 at 8:30 a.m.
