MILFORD — A service vehicle towing a trailer caught fire on Interstate 95 North Bound near exit #37 on Monday, prompting emergency responses from the Milford Fire Department.
The Milford Dispatch (EOC) received a call from Troop G at 3:49 p.m. reporting the vehicle fire.
Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene to find the vehicle ablaze.
The teams worked diligently to extinguish the fire and overhaul the vehicle to prevent any potential re-ignition.
As a result of the firefighting efforts, all lanes except for the high-speed lane were temporarily closed, causing traffic delays.
No injuries were reported among motorists or emergency personnel.
