CONWAY — Authorities are investigating the death of a woman who was shot at a Conway apartment early today as a suspicious incident.
The Conway Police Department received a 911 call around midnight and responded to the scene at 36 Council Road, where they found an adult female resident with gunshot wounds.
She was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but succumbed to her injuries.
New Hampshire Attorney General John M. Formella, State Police Colonel Mark Hall, and Conway Police Chief Christopher Mattei stated that the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Office, State Police, and Conway Police Department are jointly investigating the case.
While details are scarce in the ongoing investigation, officials have confirmed that all individuals involved have been identified and there is believed to be no ongoing threat to the public.
