EXETER — A 20-year-old Woonsocket woman was arrested Wednesday evening on charges of simple assault and disorderly conduct following a disturbance in Exeter, state police said.
Troopers from the Hope Valley Barracks responded to a report of a disturbance at 251 Main Street around 5 p.m. and took Ciara Valentin, into custody.
Valentin is charged with simple assault and/or battery — first offense and disorderly conduct for fighting or tumultuous behavior.
After her arrest, Valentin was transported to the State Police Hope Valley Barracks, where she was processed.
She was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and released pending a future court date at the Fourth Division District Court.
