Topsham burglary under investigation, police seek help identifying suspect vehicle

TOPSHAM — Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary of a camp on Powder Spring Road that occurred on April 22, officials said Thursday.

Authorities received a report on April 25 and have since been seeking information to identify a suspect vehicle captured on trail camera photos provided by the victim.

The vehicle in question is an older model crew cab Chevrolet pickup, blue with white detailing on the bed and a distinctive white “Chevrolet” tailgate.

It is believed to have a paper temporary registration displayed in the rear window.

The State Police are requesting public assistance to track down the operator of the truck.

Anyone with information related to the vehicle or the burglary is encouraged to call the St. Johnsbury State Police Barracks at 802-748-3111.

Investigators have not disclosed the specific items taken during the burglary or the estimated value of the stolen property.

The investigation remains ongoing as officers work to identify the suspects and retrieve the stolen goods.
