HUBBARDTON — A Leicester woman was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries following a single-vehicle crash on Vermont Route 30 near Monument Hill Road on April 21.
Alyssa Hutchins, 23, was driving a 2021 Chevrolet Equinox around 3:34 p.m. when she reportedly suffered a medical event, causing her vehicle to veer off the road into a ditch.
The front end of the vehicle sustained significant damage, and the airbags were deployed.
Vermont State Police, along with Fair Haven Rescue and Hubbardton Fire Department, responded to the scene at 2198 Vermont Route 30.
Hutchins was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
